I took a look at the person you mentioned and history of the contributions.
Just a thought have you tried messaging the person who uploaded the GECOM file that is where the problem is.
The message will get to them through the system.
Hope this helps

Family Tree allows you to edit the sex of a person.
If a person is linked to another person as a spouse or parent, you cannot set the sex as unknown.
Steps (website)
- Navigate to the Person page of the individual for whom you want to correct the sex.
- Click Details.
- In the Vitals section, for the sex, click Edit.
- Click the correct sex.
- Explain why your information is correct in the reason statement. If the existing reasoning is applicable, leave the existing explanation, and add your own comments.
- Click Save.

I was hoping someone would look at Jacob's L1CD-ND8 person page and his father's and mother's and see if they can find anything to substantiate either sex for Jacob.

Thank you for looking at the record. That's a great idea. I'll try messaging the contributer. Thank you again.
