In a Deeds Index entry such as "L & L Halstead" should I assume it is a business?

Should I mark it blank or should I record the name as an individual, "L. Halstead"?

I would create a record for L Halstead. The goal is to get the researcher to the image by having a searchable name. Without a record, they would have a very difficult time finding it. They can decide if it is a business.

Thank you for the suggestions/advice! I suspect this is a family business and like the idea of leaving a searchable name. I will remember to include my batch code next time I need help. June
