Both fathers give consent to the marriage, however, their names are transposed with the bride and groom. Can I match the father's names to the parties or do I leave it as-is?

Either the groom and the bride have the wrong surnames or the fathers have the wrong surnames. We do not know which are in error.

If you follow the basic rule of Type What You See, researchers will be led to this record by our index and they will make the final determinations.
