What do we do if the extension is greyed out and gives this message (we are in the family history center and some of the computers are green/connected, but most are not):
Family History Center Premium Content
Unable to find the Family History Center that you are in.
Speak with center staff to correct this.

When the extension icon turns Gray it means your computer cannot be verified as a Family History Center. This is usually a network issue or an issue with our servers. The only thing you can do at this time is to call Family History Center Support to see if there is a server outage or if you need someone to check your local networking.

The Portal does require Windows 10 Build 21H2 or above currently. As noted back in October 2020 ALL Windows 7 computers should be upgraded or replaced by contacting Family History Center Support. Effective April 30, 2022, All Windows 7 computers in the Church buildings will have the operating system licenses expire and thus will be illegal to be in Church property and need to be returned so we can remove them from the depreciation schedule.
