Searching Records by Name, beyond First and Last

In other languages there is no rigid nor consistent rule for what is the First, Middle, Last name. Could searching records be more flexible with this?

For example: José Santiago da Conceição with mother Firmina Maria da Conceição

Is "Santiago" registered as a First Name or a Last Name? And "Maria"?

Each of the four possible combinations gives very different search results. Could FamilySearch handle this automatically when searching records?

José / Santiago da Conceição and Firmina / Maria da Conceição

José Santiago / da Conceição and Firmina Maria / da Conceição

José / Santiago da Conceição and Firmina Maria / da Conceição

José Santiago / da Conceição and Firmina / Maria da Conceição

Thanks...
