Dates: United States—Enlisted and Officer Muster Rolls and Rosters, 1916–1939 [Part O]

What date do I use?

There is a date at the very top of the page underneath the Monthly Roster heading ... that date says Sept. 30, 1924.

Then next to some names (not all names have different dates), there is a different date than what's at the top of the page (i.e. "D.S. at Chanute Field since 7/1/24." or "Hqrs. Ft. Sill, dated 8/28/24.)

Which date am I supposed to use for those names that have different dates?

Edit to add: the code is M3K2-SM6

The Field Help (purple circle) tells us:

When multiple dates are present on the image, please choose the military year based on the following hierarchy:

    1. Enlistment date
    2. Muster roll or monthly roster date
    3. Any other applicable military date

Two of the men on your batch have "enl" or enlistment dates. You would use those dates for them and for everyone else use the muster roll date at the top: Sep 30, 1924.
