I think in this situation you would make an entry 8 for that second twin specifically. It shows the total two births, and the 2 is listed also under the Female column so i would reasonably guess that they had twin girls. So i would make a second entry for that second girl. Anyone else feel free to correct me if this is wrong, but I think this is correct

The Sex of the twins is Female (they are both female - thus 2 in the female and total columns). I agree with Colin - add another Entry (8) duplicating the information for birth of twin.

You don't index a term like Twins any where on the form. The researcher will get to the image and see that this was a multiple birth.
In the situation where the twins are of the same gender and un-named, you usually only need to create one record.
But, since the project instructions say:
- If information about twins or other multiple births is recorded on a document, index a separate entry for each child.
The system might delete the 8th record, since it is going to be an exact duplicate entry. But, at least you will have followed the project instructions.

Thank you for your help genthusiast. Colin, my response to you should have gone to "genthusiast". Not sure if you all sit in the same office but if you get a chance let genthusiast know. Thank you all again. Linda

Linda, most of us are just volunteers and not employees of FamilySearch. My "office" is the island in our kitchen in Ohio. Glad to be able to help! I'm curious did you notice if the system deleted the 8th entry on your batch, leaving you with 7 entries after you hit submit?

Thanks Linda. Just a volunteer here too - 'mobile office'.
