Was she living in Kentucky or Arkansas?
I have reason to believe that Harriet Carr(GW2Z-HD1) and Harriet A. Holland(K6F8-Z91) may have been the same person. For example, both were born around 1850, both were married to a John Carr, both were daughters of parents born in Virginia and Kentucky.
The problem is that the 1900 US Census places Harriet Carr in Arkansas with three children and a husband while it also places Harriet Holland in Kentucky with five children. While the number of children could support the identification of two, as the census, under "Mother of how many children" attributes Carr eight children, even though only three names are given, the census creates a problem. Was Harriet living in Kentucky or Arkansas?
Something that might factor into this issue is that when you look at Holland's census record, it says "410 - Record removed." The census information I provided for Holland wasn't actually from this census. It's from the information on her page that claims to be derived from the census. In fact, her five children are sourced only through this removed census.
If there's somewhere else better suited for this question, please point it out.
Thanks,
Marcy
