Reservations - printed cards taken by temple
When I print all ordinances on the same card, and then take to the temple and complete the baptism and confirmation ordinances, the card is retained by the temple. Previously, we would get the card back to complete the other remaining ordinances.
I have several names in my reservations list that show having been printed, but I no longer have the cards because the temple took them.
The idea I have is that when this happens, it should alert my reservations list that the card is no longer printed but is in fact ready to print. This is causing confusion making me wonder if I have lost the cards or fear that I will be doing duplicate work.

Going forward, one suggestion would be to only print the ordinance that you are going to do. This way you won't have this problem of identifying potential missing cards. Another suggestion is to share everything you have reserved to the shared temple file. Then only unshare the ordinances you are going to immediately work on to your "My Reservations" list. Then you will know exactly which ones you have that are currently being worked on by you.

With the new system of not returning ordinance cards to the patrons, the system needs to mark the rest of the ordinances unprinted. The system says that the card is printed and I go to my printed cards and there is no card. The reason being I printed the cards with all ordinances before the new program started. Once these cards go through the system the card needs to list further ordinances for that person as unprinted.

It looks like this has been suggested before, but where we are required to reprint each time after ordinances are completed, sometimes it's a challenge to keep track of. When an ordinance is completed, would it be possible for the status of family file names to change from "printed" to "not printed" as a way to help users know which are ready for the next ordinance? Does this make sense?
Tracking the process of completing ordinances is pretty time consuming and this would help. Maybe there's another way to do this that I don't know about.
I support this suggestion from Casos.

I agree, as we can no longer keep ordinance cards after one ordinance has been completed, it is very difficult to keep track of what cards actually are printed or not printed. There should be a way to change the "printed" icon to "not printed" or even "lost" manually, because sometimes it shows that it is printed when I don't actually have a printed version of it!! Very problematic for me.
