Danish -- I am curious if there's a help source for interpreting Danish birth record(s) based on the handwriting that is in one of my ancestors? I just cannot interpret the handwriting and am looking for assistance.

web address: www.sa.dk/ao-soegesider/en/billedviser?epid=17125144#166639,27982138

The name 2nd from the bottom of this page. I have deciphered the following (but need help with the writing I cannot decipher).

Here's what I've deciphered:

Birth Date: 1 January 1814; First Name: Niels; Last (Sir) Name: Christensen; Christening Date: 10 April 1814

Please advise where I might be able to find help? Sincerely,

Grant K. Nielsen

If this is the person you are looking at I would say Niels Cristensen was born 30 December 1814 and was christened 26 February 1815. Father: Cristen Rasmusen Mother: Ane Owesdatter

It is often helpful to see if these handwritten records have been indexed. I found his indexed birth record attached to MKX4-89P in Family Tree.

Here you will find the indexed record: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XY4S-P5P

    Sincerely,

    Siv Collett
