Please can you have a look at the Scotland lanarkshire batch, its saying born 1849 and baptized in 1839

    Thanks for your question @h.lewissmy regarding UK, Scotland, Lanarkshire—Church Records, 1823–1967 [M3KP-4J1].

    If you scroll in really close on the 1849 date, you can just make out the number 3 written over the number 4. It appears the clerk may have originally written 1840 in that column heading, but then changed it to 1839. Go ahead and use the date of 1839.
