I am indexing death records. It asks Fathers Name. However the name is not given in the record image. It won't let me submit without that field entered.

How do I proceed?

if there is no father listed, then in that field you will press: Ctrl + B

When you do that, it will look like this: <BLANK> Thats when you know you have done it right.
