How to Index a Spanish Marriage Record that continues from pg 1 to pg 2?
Please bare with me, I am new to helping out. -- I am Indexing a Spanish Marriage Record that continues from pg 1 to pg 2 and part of the Bride's info is on pg 2, but since it doesn't have the Groom's info on there does this mean that pg 2 is to be considered as NOT to be Indexed? From what I understood from the instructions regarding Indexing if it doesn't contain Dates, Names of the Individual Person to whom this Record/Document is for, they are not to be Indexed. In the Hispanic Records/Documents they tend to have the names of the Parents and sometimes Grandparents of whom these Records pertain to. This is how I was able to make connections with families that intertwined with my immediate family to branch out to Uncles, Aunts and Cousins in other generations. I have come across some already Indexed info that no longer show the Grandparents (where they are shown on the Original Document but it's not been added when Indexed when I was searching for my personal info luckily I can read it for myself and was able to continue the search). Would appreciate any feedback regarding this and if I've dropped the ball somewhere. Thanks. CMJ

Hi @CeciliaMarquez-Jensen . Welcome to the world of indexing. Your instincts are correct.
Short Answer: Yes, that continuation page should be indexed. If that continuation image is beyond your batch, you open/show the "Reference Images." With the +1 reference image visible, you index the information from both your batch image AND the continuation image into the entry from your batch. You can show the reference images by clicking on the bottom icon on the vertical toolbar - it looks like an open book. Click a second time to make the reference images go away, or click on an x in the upper right corner of the reference image panel. See below for more details on this.
Sharing a Batch: But, before I get into more details on the "why and how," I need to tell you about "sharing" a batch so that someone can look at your batch and give you the most accurate help. There are several ways to do this, but one way is to post the Batch Code. It is the combination of letters and numbers beginning with M that you'll see inside brackets at the end of your batch's name. It looks like MXXX-XXX. So, please always post that batch code when you ask a specific question. In this case, we can use it to confirm that the general information I'm about to give you applies to your batch - it probably does.
More Details: The last section of your Project Instructions (PI) usually comprises the General Indexing Guidelines (GIG). The rules in the GIG apply when your PI doesn't instruct you do something to the contrary. One section of your GIG should talk about exactly your situation - "What to do when Records Span 2 Images or to View Additional Images" Below is a link to that subsection of a GIG from one of my batches. It says what I mentioned in the Short Answer section above but covers more cases:
