Can I change information on a New Discovery Page

My ggg randfather Archibald Campbell KX1K-D1J has this information on his New Discovery Page.

"He lived in East Saginaw, Shelby, Alabama, United States in 1846 and Buena Vista, Saginaw, Michigan, United States in 1850." https://ancestors.familysearch.org/en/KX1K-D1J/archibald-campbell-1816-1894

The information about Shelby, Alabama is wrong and I can't see where it comes from to change it to Michigan.

How can I get this changed. (Today is his birthday) Thank you for your help

The information on the New Discovery page is not updated immediately. If you changed the information on a PID, it will EVENTUALLY be updated on the Discovery page.

If you can't see where a place on the Discovery page came from on the person's detail page, check the standardized values. (You can get a good overview by looking at the Time Line tab.) It is possible to accidentally end up with, say, "East Saginaw Michigan" as the display value (what shows on the Details page) but "East Saginaw, Shelby, Alabama, United States" as the standardized value (what the Discovery page and the map use).

The error is coming from the other information section. Under the residence for 1846. When you click on edit, you will see this screen above. You will see above that the place of residence has been incorrectly standardized as Alabama. You can correct that location and save.

The Discovery Page will be updated sometime in the next couple of weeks. You'll have to check back regularly to find out when it will show your changes.

    FYI

    It's 'Brett'

[ I have responded in some of your previous posts ... ]

Further to; and, in support of, that which 'Áine Ni Donnghaile' has already proffered ...

    Short Answer" 'Yes'.

    But ...

    That Said ...

Not all of what you 'see' on "Discovery Pages" are mistakes.

    Please be advised/aware, that ...

Often, what appears to be a perceived mistake, on the "Discovery Page", is just the way that the "Discovery Pages", displays information/detail, about the individual/person, from "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch'.

The "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch", are ONLY, simply, to enable (SOME of) the individuals/persons, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', to be "Found" (ie. located), by ANYONE, doing a search on the INTERNET, for such an individuals/persons.

The "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch", are NOT any form of definitive "Resource" for Genealogy/Family History research.

The "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch", are simply to bring OTHERS, not aware of; or, already associated with, "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', TO discover 'FamilySearch'; and, especially, to enable them, to participate in, "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch', if the so desire - nothing more, nothing less.

And, the "Discovery Pages" DO NOT list "Living" individuals/persons.

[ Unless, of course; as, you discovered, a User/Patron has made a MISTAKE ... ]

ONLY "One" Spouse", will appear on "Discovery Pages", if an individual/person had more than one spouse.

    Plus ...

    Please note ...

That a "Change", to an individual/person, in the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch', will NOT appear IMMEDIATELY, in the "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch'; and, will NOT do so, for a couple of Weeks.

The "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'; and, the "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch', are Two (x2) separate and distinct programmes.

The "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch' maintains the "Data".

Whereas, the "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch', 'Pulls' from, the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'.

Every couple of Weeks, BOTH, the "Family Tree" Part, of 'FamilySearch'; and, the "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch', are 'Synchronise" together; so that, the "Discovery Pages", in "Ancestors.FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch', can be "Updated", with any "Changes" made.

    And ...
