Cannot merge
FS support could not help so they said to post here. Two records each suggest possible duplicate, which do present as duplicates when compared. Repeated efforts over 3 weeks to merge the two records both by PID and by following the review merge process fail, as shown by the below screen shot. I have cleared cache/browsing history but that doesn't help. The two PID's are LXP3-539 and GQZ8-125.

FYI
I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...
Just in passing ...
IF, you have not ALREADY tried; THEN, ...
Suggestion: Try "Merging"/"Combining"; so that, Brent De COPE ( LXP3-539 ), is the "Surviving" individual/person.
As, that "Record", is the OLDER "Record", in "Family Tree:, of 'FamilySearch'.
[ That often helps ... ]
Just my thoughts.

Thanks Brett, but FS says the records can only be merged in that order.

FYI
As, I am "Related" ...
'Done and Dusted' ... All FIXED ...
I found, that Brent De COPE (GQZ8-125), has been previously 'Merged'/'Combined', with Brent De COPE (KWHV-Z61).
Where ...
Brent De COPE ( KWHV-Z61 ), had actually been participated in, by the ACTUAL individual/person concerned.
I suggest, that may have been partly WHY, the "System", would ONLY allow, Brent De COPE ( LXP3-539 ), to be the "Surviving" record.
So ...
As such ...
[ 1 ]
I "Restored", Brent De COPE ( KWHV-Z61 ); as, such, been participated in, by the ACTUAL individual/person concerned.
I then, "Re-Merged"/"Re-Combined" both, Brent De COPE ( KWHV-Z61 ); and, Brent De COPE ( GQZ8-125 ); so that, Brent De COPE ( KWHV-Z61 ), was the "Surviving" individual /person; as, such, been participated in, by the ACTUAL individual/person concerned.
[ 2 ]
After ...
I then, "Merged"/"Combined" both, Brent De COPE ( KWHV-Z61 ); and, Brent De COPE ( LXP3-539 ); so that, Brent De COPE ( KWHV-Z61 ), was, again, the "Surviving" individual /person; as, such, been participated in, by the ACTUAL individual/person concerned.
Now ...
That Said ...
ALL Done.
I hope that you do not mind.
Brett
ps: I thought, such would be too difficult, to try explain (ie. the WHY; and, the HOW) in "Writing", in a post; and, as, I am "Related", I felt, me doing the work, was somewhat justified (and, somewhat acceptable).

Brett, thanks very much - now I've learned to look at the history and unmerge. So double thanks for the actual work and for the lesson!
Your profile is marked private so I can't see how we are related, but again, thank you.
