The yellow ruler line will not drag. It is stuck at the top of the page.

Hi @NebekerBetteJo1 , Use the Ruler like a highlighter by moving the page up as you index each entry-- sorry I don't know how to do a screenshot for an example

After you open the ruler, you should be able to put and mouse pointer on the ruler and the mouse pointer should change to an up and down arrow. You should be to click and hold, then be able to move the ruler up and down the page.

If you cannot do that. I would suggest you clear out your Cookies. Here is the procedure I copied:

    1. Go to https://familysearch.org/cookies.
    2. When the Reset your cookies? appears, click Yes.
    3. (Optional) Reset your cookie preferences, if you do not like the default choice. Instruction are listed in the related articles, below.

Note: This feature only removes FamilySearch cookies from your browser.

If you are using a tablet, I didnot copy the instructions, Click the ? mark with a circle around it, then click Help Center, in search bar, type "Delete Cookies" and then hit enter, scroll the down the page and it will tell you what to do on a tablet.

I hope this fixes you problem

Thank you for the indexing you are doing.

Also try turning the Ruler off and then on again.. Click on the “Data Entry” drop down menu and then on “Show Ruler” - that should de-select/un-check it. See if that actually turns it off on your image, as it should. Then go back and turn the ruler on in the same way and see if it responds now.
