Profile created in 2012
The profile for two people, Wm Marsh, M96N-GB4 and Ann Dearmar, M96N-G1Q created in 2012 by FamilySearch appears to have been derived from a marriage record, since that is the only dated event for them. However, that marriage record does not show up on a record search. Can you determine where that record is or how to find it?

@reykjavik On FindMyPast, there is an index to that marriage.

Thanks Áine - that fills the bill exactly.

The Society of Genealogists' Search engine has been revised and I am finding things far more difficult than in even using the new FamilySearch interface! Hence, I can't find the 1761 record there (searching on the Boyd's collection or elsewhere). I checked the FMP index (I do not have a sub in order to check further) and the only two references I could find to the 1761 marriage were: (1) As part of the "Greater London Marriage Index" and (2) As part of the "England, Phillimore Marriage Registers, 1531-1913" one.
I wonder if you could advise how you found the Boyd's reference? The main reason for my interest is that the marriage detail against M96N-G1Q shows a standardized place name of "Finchley All Saints, London, England, United Kingdom", which only applies from 1888, according to the drop-down. I just wanted to advise @reykjavik of the correct standard placename as at 1761- probably "Finchley, Middlesex, England". The "Finchley All Saints, London, England, United Kingdom" option is recorded incorrectly in the Placenames database for this period - firstly, because "United Kingdom" is only used as a suffix from 1801, secondly, Finchley was not in London at this time (not till 1965, I just found) and, thirdly, it appears (though I can't confirm this) that All Saints' church was not established until 1888 (being located in the present location of East Finchley).
BTW, in FMP I am looking at https://www.findmypast.co.uk/search/results?sid=100&firstname=ann&firstname_variants=true&lastname=dearmar&keywordsplace_proximity=5&sourcecountry=great+britain, so can only think that "Greater London Marriage Index" might be the same record as for "Boyd's".
UPDATE: After all that, I just found the record at FreeREG - see https://www.freereg.org.uk/search_records/581817a5e93790eb7f2d1709/ann-dearmar-william-marsh-marriage-middlesex-finchley-1761-11-09?locale=en. This confirms the marriage took place at St Mary's, Finchley, Middlesex on 9 November 1761. The reason this is not available in the database is because St Mary's appears to be the only church in the parish of Finchley at this time, so "Finchley, Middlesex, England" would be the correct choice from the drop-down menu (after entering "Finchley"). Sorry to appear so pedantic, but I have had a number of entries showing up as being non-standard lately - apparently, because I have added / omitted the "United Kingdom" suffix when I shouldn't have.

There are several references to the marriage index on FMP. Since it IS a subscription site, behind a paywall, I will not post further details here. I also attached the source to the 2 profiles mentioned in the OP.

Sure, that's fine. My main problem is in why I can't find the Boyd's record either in the Society of Genealogists' website (I am a member of the society) or in the FMP index (of which I am a registered user, without detailed viewing rights). Incidentally, the FreeREG record is taken from the Phillimore collection.

Thanks to both! The FreeReg link is useful, because it allows others to check the details for themselves. I had seen the information somewhere, but I couldn't find the source again.
