Death in Canada 1918

Can someone please let me know how to apply for a death certificate in 1918 Montreal Quebec Canada - I live in the UK

    Canada does not have a central registry for death records. You need to apply to the appropriate provincial office.

    Many thanks for your help - I did in fact get as far as the relevant site but was bamboozled when I tried to fill in the form and thought perhaps there was a different way to apply for applicants from another country as the form appeared to me to be for Canadian residents only - I have contacted the relevant office and asked for assistance. Thank you once again.
