Make it easier to contact contributors

It would be great if when creating a new discussion under "collaborate" it would send a notification to the contributors of that person. Otherwise, who knows how long it will take for them to notice the discussion.

But ...

That Said ...

NOT New ...

Some time ago (maybe Years now) ...

I 'touted', a similar suggested enhancement ...

ie. to be able to 'Message' ALL the relevant Users/Patrons (ie. "Contributors") concerned, ON-MASS ...

But ...

That Said ...

I was, literally, 'hounded down', on the basis, that such would considered; as, "Spam" ...

Go figure ...

So ...

'No', instead of a practical approach, we are left, with 'Messaging' ALL the "Contributors" (ie. Users/Patrons), of a particular individual/person, 'laboriously', one by one, one at a time ...

And ...

Yet ...

Now ...

In, "User Messaging" of 'FamilySearch'; and, "Family Groups" (ie. Group Messaging),

[ and, not to forget, even, in this Forum ... ],

We CAN, 'Message', MORE that ONE User/Patron, at a time.

It is about time, that 'Messaging' ALL the "Contributors" (ie. Users/Patrons), of a particular individual/person, WAS enabled.

Just my thoughts.

Again, great suggested enhancement.

We can but live in hope ...
