I suspect this is another aspect of the computerised indexing problems:

Searching for a marriage of Clarence Melville Hoyt (1875-–1945) GS2D-2LK, there are three such sources. Two are indexed correctly but initially I was unfortunate to choose the one which was not. This one:

    www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:418C-SVZM?treeref=GS2D-2LK

states that his spouse was Sarah Ellen McCracken, but she is clearly identified in the source as his mother. The other two index entries, though differing slightly from each other, both state the spouse correctly is Elizabeth Ann Matheson.

The incorrect index is one where the researcher is informed "The information on this record came from a group of images. To view the image of this record, you will need to look through several images." so I believed the transcribed data rather than trawling through the 600 images. Eventually I realised the error and corrected it, only to later find the wrong record again and uncorrect it again. Please remove this erroneous record if it cannot be corrected to prevent other contributors coming along and re-uncorrecting the record. The document information is

    Digital Folder Number 005686281

    Microfilm Number 1290104

    Indexing Batch M01222-4
