Hello,

I'm looking for an obituary of Johann Daubrawa LY6D-8K7 born in 1820 in Austria and supposedly died on 2 July 1906 in Waterloo, Jefferson, Wisconsin. I understand that there was a newspaper called "Waterloo Parish News" in the area from 1894-1918, but I don't know how to access is. The Wisconsin Historical Society had a link to it: https://access.newspaperarchive.com/us/wisconsin/waterloo/waterloo-parish-news

but it's not working. Would you by chance be able to point me to any experts for this area who might be able to get me access to it and find anything on Johann Doubrava?

Thanks,

Krystal

Checking the available newspapers on NewspaperArchive dot com, They have the "Waterloo Parish News" for only 3 years: 1894, 1904, and 1918

Aine, thank you for your response. Do you know if I can access those? I'd like to see if any family members are mentioned at all. Thank you, Krystal

NewspaperArchive dot com is a paid database, but it is available from many public libraries.

AncestorHunt has a database of Wisconsin newspapers. You may find something useful. https://theancestorhunt.com/blog/wisconsin-online-historical-newspapers-summary/
