Who is Responsible for your Horrible Algorithms?

After taking a break to see if anything would be fixed, I come back and find that it is worse? How is that possible?!

Forget about the "appearance" of the website. That has nothing to do with the coding behind the search functions. And it looked just fine before these changes to a non-functioning environment.

Your algorithms, which used to work FANTASTICALLY are now absolutely horrible. And please spare me the nonsense about providing specific examples; I and others have already done that repeatedly. You haven't answered one example that I have put forward.

There is no doubt in my mind that somebody in this organization has worked with Ancestry.com to ensure the failure of this site. Prove me wrong!

The Church needs to come clean: was this purposeful or do you need to seriously clean house in your IT department?

These search results are just comical at best. You can only laugh at the search results. What a shame!

I have original Mormon Pioneers within my lineage. The Church has actually reached out to me about my relatives. Nobody could have ever discovered these connections under the current algorithms. So, at least I started years ago before this disaster was permitted to take place.

Again, what a complete shame.

Sincerely,

Jim M. Hobbs
