Should my user name and password be the same
I have the user name and password for my FamilySearch account but I cant' access this website https://id.churchofjesuschrist.org/signin/verify/okta/password My password is saved on this website but when I to access it I get the response Password is Incorrect.
How are you going to respond to this enquiry? I haven't given my phone number or email address.
I have questions that require access by a employee of FamilySearch that has the ability to access the main familysearch data base. I used to be a service missionary at the JSMB 3rd floor. Community help doesn't know how to answer my questions.
FamilySearch Help has made it so difficult to get answers to questions. Please refer me to literature that can explain how one can access help to difficult questions. Example: How am I going to find your response to these questions I'm currently asking?
Other countries have a phone number that can be accessed. FamilySearch has nothing but Ask the Community - who haven't got a clue. I'm desperate to find answers. Do live people answer these questions or do robots. Very confusing and frustrating!
Can you contact me? email: welshgirlusa@comcast.net

The logins for FamilySearch and The Church of Jesus Christ are no longer tied to each other. If you want the logins and passwords to be the same you must change both of them if you change your password in one of them.
We respond to this type of inquiry on the post you made in Community.
