Thank you for posting in the Community about the inability to merge, because of the feature not available in your location. Several people have complained about this issue but we need the ID's that they are having an issue with to investigate further. Having that screenshot does not help us duplicate the issue.
Please provide the ID number, and more about what you are trying to merge when you received he message. We also ask you to try the merge again, to see if it was a temporary issue.

GDJS-H7R and GCLF-PRK are duplicate records or the same person

same issue as original post getting same error message as previously copied and pasted screenshot for
LCMYJG4 and G83PT52 Mary Lee Pulaski 1907-1974 two records are for her and I can't merge them as I was able to do in the past.

@PaulAllen1, are you using any sort of pop-up blocker or similar security add-on? Sometimes those can cause FamilySearch's processes to break in a way that the system misinterprets as a regional restriction.
