Why can;t I merge as this image stops me.
GCLF-PRK, and GDJS-H7R are duplicate records
Why can't I merge as that image is stopping me?
GDJS-H7R and GCLF-PRK
Thank you for posting in the Community about the inability to merge, because of the feature not available in your location. Several people have complained about this issue but we need the ID's that they are having an issue with to investigate further. Having that screenshot does not help us duplicate the issue.
Please provide the ID number, and more about what you are trying to merge when you received he message. We also ask you to try the merge again, to see if it was a temporary issue.
We ask you to remove the sensitive information from your post.
Mod Note: The original post has been edited to remove personally-identifying information.
I was told to send the screen shot by one of your elders.
GDJS-H7R and GCLF-PRK are duplicate records or the same person
same issue as original post getting same error message as previously copied and pasted screenshot for
LCMYJG4 and G83PT52 Mary Lee Pulaski 1907-1974 two records are for her and I can't merge them as I was able to do in the past.
Paul Allen 57425
It appears I could merge these two IDs, if I so wished.
Can you explain the circumstances whereby the "This feature is not available in your location" page appears?
@PaulAllen1, are you using any sort of pop-up blocker or similar security add-on? Sometimes those can cause FamilySearch's processes to break in a way that the system misinterprets as a regional restriction.
You appear to be addressing the wrong issue. Please re-read what has been written, as I don't see how viewing of images can have anything to do with a problem with merging.
The screenshot shows the image stating "This feature is not available in your location" page appears? I am not sure why he received that error message, but I do know it sometimes appears when the images are restricted in some way.
