Untagged Photos Attached to a Story
Generally an untagged photo in the Gallery will never be displayed in FamilySearch. How about a few photos of an experience that is connected to a story, that is attached to me. Will those photos persist on my death without a tag? Generally none of my gallery photos would be visible after my death if there are no tags to ME, but how about to a story attached to me?
Just curious about this. The story with the photo experiences (in this case, my time as a shipboard naval medical officer showing a rescue operation of a small family in the South China Sea) is a great story, but if the photos are not tagged to me, only to the story, will those photos be visible to anyone after my death?

I am not in any of the photos, but they describe an event that happened in my life. It doesn't seem like I should have to tag myself to the photos, when I am not in them, just to have them preserved after my death.

Memories attached to a story will stay attached & visible with the story unless the contributor of the story detaches the photo or the photo is deleted.

Just to make sure that I totally understand, this is what I am understanding from your response. "Photographs that have NO tags to anyone, but are associated with a story that is tagged to myself, will continue to be visible, even after my death."
Just wanted to make sure that I understood the answer.
Thanks

Hi Stephan
You are correct, they will continue to be visible. Only you can change that, as you are the contributor.
