I received the following responses to my question, when I used WikiTree.com. One from Lida Kurth and the other from Kathy Rabinstein. Can you give me other information that might be helpful?
First Response:
I looked it up and there are several quarries midway between Munich and Nuremburg on a river I think altmuhl If I spelled it right. I have been to both Munich and Nuremburg as my brother lived in Bavaria. We also have Millers/Muellers from Germany. In fact the gravestone next to my brothers sister in law is a Mueller. Not sure if they are connected though. Lovely place.

Second Response:
I did a Google search, but of course there are no results as the name of the place would be German rather than English and it is a quarry, not a village. Sorry I can't help you there.
We use what they used. His name at birth should be:
First name: Johann
Middle: Martin
LNAB: Müller (not Miller--copy and paste if you don't know coding)
Current LN: Miller
Rhenish, Bavaria should be rendered Pfalz, Bayern--there was no Germany until 1871.
