the new colors on merging pages are not very pretty, and for those who are color blind for green and brown, the 2 colors may look exactly the same, which would negate any reasons for having different colors. Muted orange and muted olive green are some of my least favorite colors. However, my preferences aside, the idea for the different colors, I assume, is to make it apparent which box of information is saved. Having colors that may not be discernable to some seems to defeat the purpose?

Comments from people who do have the color blind gene for brown and green are encouraged to add their opinions. Perhaps they can tell the difference?

Ancestry.com has changed the background colors of their screen and it is very easy on the eyes. The background screen on FamilySearch is not easy on the eyes, it is basically bright white.
