Family Search has California Vital Records for after 1966 but I am needing to find two divorce records from the 1920's in California. I do not have the county that they would have filed in. Where can I request those records?

@Sarah Garver Alder Without knowing the county, it looks like you are going to have a hard time finding the divorce records. The FamilySearch Wiki artile about California Vital Records has this to say about divorce records: "Divorce records have been kept by the superior court in the county where the divorces were granted. You can write to the clerk of the court for information. You can also write to the State Department of Health for records since 1962."

You might want to do some other research about the couple whose divorce you are trying to track down to see if you can make a reasonable guess as to what county they might have lived in at the time of the divorce. Census records or birth records for any children they had can give you some clues.
