Finding a person with only dates
In the work I do sometimes I find genealogical items where the name is not legible or known
but only dates
for example here is a needlework sampler where the names are not legible but the dates are

any tips or tricks in locating the corresponding family when you have an item like this?
what databases are out there that could be checked that allow for checking a birth and death date - but no name . . .
any thoughts?

Thanks for your challenging question. Here are some thoughts.
- If you suspect they are in your tree: Dowload your tree to a private tree management software, then you can sort the people in the tree by birth date and see if you can find any matches. See FamilySearch Solutions Gallery for Tree Management Software. https://partners.familysearch.org/solutionsgallery/s/list?category=family_tree_management
- It looks like this could be a family group. Think about checking census records for areas in which they may have lived during the time periods listed. Look for them together as a family group.
- If you know the town or county of birth, check local civil and church records by chronological date. If at first you don't find them, fan out to the next closest town, county, state.
Hope this helps, Best of luck with your continued research.

Have you tried a photograph restoration business?

thanks
I just wish there were databases that could allow you to search on exact BIRTH AND DEATH DATES (both combined on single search)
even without a name.
technically speaking its very do-able
just few genealogical interfaces that allow it.
