Why is "This feature is not available in your location" stopping me in UK merging people?
I have done thousands of merges over the last few years but lately I am getting this message on a screen with a cartoon picture of a man on a rock. I used to be able to click a button to sign in, even though I was already signed in. Then it let me do the merge. Now I dont have that escape route. Why and what can O do to get working again?

I am not in the UK; but, I am not having any problems/issues, with "Merging"/"Combining", those "Deceased" individuals/persons, in the UK.
As an aside ...
I principally use, the "Browser" of, 'Google' "Chrome"; but, also, that of 'Mozilla' "FireFox"; and, if needs be, occasionally, 'Microsoft' "Edge", ALL with the "Operating System" of "Windows 10"; and, each with the LATEST version of each.
Now ...
That Said ...
IF, you have not already; THEN, ...
An "Oldie"; but, STILL, often, a "Goodie" ...
Sometimes it works; but, then, again sometimes it may not ...
Try "Clearing", the "Cookies"; and, the "Cache", of your "Browsers".
[ And, even to the extent of "Clearing" your "Browsing History" ... ]
Another thing that can cause problems/issue is the likes of ADD or POP-UP "Blockers"

I have not had time yet to try Brett's suggestions, but I am having exactly the same problem as Sally, which started around mid-January 2022 and continues today (2 February). It prevents me examining duplicates, prevents any merges (and also prevents considering/reviewing possible merges) and even prevents my trying to look up someone by copying the ID from the suggested duplicate and using the 'Find by ID' feature. I am also in the UK.

I believe we've concluded on other threads about this problem that it is most likely caused by some type of security software, such as a pop-up blocker.
