Since Family Centers are still closed...

in a lot of places, like Virginia, why not unlock the databases until they open again. I know I have been waiting many months and in talking to the Elder from my local center the update is they have no idea when they will open again. I know that some states/counties have an agreement that they won't be open to the public but it seems crazy to keep us stuck waiting for them to open again. I just need one document before submitting an application to the DAR. Thank you.

    We are sorry for the situation but the record owners and not FamilySearch decide how records can be viewed. There is an article in the FamilySearch Help Center that explains this policy. You can click on the link below to get to the article.
