United States—Enlisted and Officer Muster Rolls and Rosters, 1916–1939 [Part N][M3JN-LHN]

Is the name of the person who filled out the sheet supposed to be listed on our indexing? In this case it was Richard C Lowry.

According to the project instructions, they should not be listed:

    • Do not index the name of the person preparing the record of monthly rolls and monthly rosters unless the person is also listed on the roster or roll itself.

    Hi @Janet Holdstock

No, unless also listed within the muster roll. From the What to Index section:

    • Do not index the name of the person preparing the record of monthly rolls and monthly rosters unless the person is also listed on the roster or roll itself.

    So, no in this case.

Good question, No we dont index the name of the person filling out the muster roll unless he is also listed below as a member of that roll.
