Norway Probate Cards -- Records continued on another card in different batch

These batches contain six images with two cards each. Sometimes the record continues from one card to a card on the next image. Instructions say, "If any record continues to the next image, index all the information for that record from both images in the data entry area for the image where the record begins." That's easy enough, but my question is, does that mean for the last image in the batch, we are to use the "reference Images" tool to look at the next image (in a different batch) to see if the record continues there and to index the information in the current batch if it does? An example is Norge—Tinglysningskort, 1640–1903 [Del C][MMHT-6RR], which I already submitted. In this case I did include the information from the other batch.

If the information on your last image continues to the next batch, then yes, you do use that next reference image to complete your last entry. The person who receives that next batch should mark their first image as No, No Extractable Data.

Once a batch is submitted, the batch cannot be viewed using the batch code or the link.

Ok, thanks. I just happened to notice on this one that that it continued onto another batch. I wish the instructions said to use the reference images tool to look to see if the record continued onto another batch because I hadn't thought of that. I've been doing these for a while and don't know how many I might have missed.

I am guessing that because this project is marked Advanced they didn't mention reference images in the project instructions.

The project managers might want to note that an instruction could be added in this paragraph to direct indexers to the General Indexing Guideline for What to Do When Records Span Two Images or to View Additional Images.
