Privacy laws and unavailable films
I know Poland has 80 year privacy law for marriages. How does this 80 years work for films containing a record from lets say 1942, like film 162311. It's technically 80 years as of the first, should I expect this film to become available soon?
Or would I need to wait yet another year? Since for example, a marriage in Dec 1942 hasn't yet reached 80 years yet.
I wish they would split these films with such broad record years...

ALL records in a film must be old enough to publish. So if the film goes until 1942, it would become public on 1 January 2023 if the privacy limit is 80 years.

It would also depend on the contract between FamilySearch and the record holder.

Of course, as @Áine Ni Donnghaile points out, complying with privacy laws is necessary but not sufficient for the records to be published. The record custodian/owner must give permission for the records to be published.

Thank you. More waiting then!
