How long does an account stay locked?

    My account is locked


    We are sorry your access to FamilySearch is locked.

    A public FamilySearch account locks for ten minutes after five failed login attempts, then automatically unlocks. A FamilySearch member account locks for 30 minutes after six failed attempts, then automatically unlocks.
