I'm reviewing a batch for US, Missouri—County Marriages, 1806–1969 [Part O][M9LV-V8T]

The instructions say for all fields to hit Tab to skip for fields with no information. The batch was instead marked with Cntl B for Blank rather than using Tab to skip all fields. This is the 2nd time I've reviewed a batch like this (marked Blank rather than skipped). Is it critical to correct all fields to skip rather than blank?

If a field is required (has an asterisk next to the field name), then you must not just tab over it when you don’t have the data to index that field. You must enter a Ctrl+B (<Blank> indicator.

For a non-required field, when you don’t have the data to index it, you have the option of ignoring it - tabbing over it - and that’s the most efficient thing to do. Using a Ctrl+B on such fields is a time-waster, but not incorrect.

Oh good - I will quit taking the time from changing them all from Ctrl+B to tab - LOL. Thanks for the info
