I recreated the page for Dwight D Eisenhower, as it says his page was removed or merged into another person's page. I don't know what happened there, but to have no records listed for a former United States President seemed a little strange. I can't add his spouse or his kids, whose records are all listed as read only:

@BCooper10 His PID is GDJL-SL2 FamilySearch's goal is to have only one profile per person, there is no need to "recreate" one. Famous persons will have their profile as Read Only. Oh wait this is the PID you created. I see what you mean, we need to find the original PID

I created that. I was going to add those three names under spouse and children respectively, but there records are all read only and the website will not allow me to do so, saying I have no permission to edit a read only document. I have seen people ask similar questions and people have had there is a specialty team, but I have no idea how to reach them for this situation. These three names need added and it will eliminate the issues of no children.

His old page was 9MTV-RNX, but it saying he was merged into another person or was removed. I thought that old page was read only to prevent merging or deleting of noteworthy people, especially world leaders, entertainers, etc.

My understanding was that all IDs falling into this category were made read-only, so don't be surprised if Admin either makes this read-only (or perhaps even removes it) quite soon.

The changelog for L85X-1WM - Marie Geneva Doud shows that her spouse was Dwight David EISENHOWER LL7F-91X.
He was "Read Only" but has been deleted. I see that the "Restore Person" option is available but I'm not brave enough to click on it.

I tried to restore the person, but it won't work. I have no idea why a read only person was deleted with no other backup in place, especially a world leader who was instrumental in the defeat of Nazi Germany.

I No. You didn't waste my time, but I feel like a reason for deletion would have been nice. Deleting a person on here really does mess up a person's family history.

Thanks for that. I don't know what happened to cause his page to vanish, but I feel like the Eisenhower family history should be kept intact as much as possible.
