1900 US Census Indexed incorrectly

I tried to attach the 1900 US Census to the William Shaffer [KWJ6-7H7] family but it apparently is indexed incorrectly. The first entry through the fourth and 7th through 9th are all indexed as William Shaffer:

while the document shows the names of the wife and children then living at home:

Can this be fixed so I can attach the family members correctly?

There is a known problem with the 1900 census, and it is in the hands of the developers to fix. See this thread, among others: https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/111793/a-gremlin-in-the-1900-us-census-kearny-new-jersey#latest
