I can't read the results of my search so I can figure out if I can find this person

Are you working on some type of tablet? I tried to replicate your image by shrinking my browser window and this is the best I could do:
I'm not sure why you are getting the footer. On my desktop and laptop I don't have it appear until I scroll all the way past the very last result on the page. I'm also not sure why you have so much room between the second menu bar and the search fields.
In any event, the first thing to do is to get rid of all the search fields and those blue buttons at the top by leaving the More Options panel open. That gives a lot more room to view results:
Then just scrolling a bit so that the top two menu bars and the filter options roll off the top of the screen gives even more room to view results:
But these examples may not be valid if your device's particular characteristics were not allowed for in the programming.
If you want this addressed you will need to post your device, model, year, screen size and resolution, operating system and version, browser and version.

Thank you for helping me.
I am working on my PC laptop, bought 2020 or 2021, screen is about 15", resolution 1366x768, Windows 15 (latest version), Firefox 95 (latest version)
When I do a search like the one you did, I am getting 245 pages of results.
When I do an advanced search, I get the picture I posted.

With the information you provided, I hope someone can figure out why things are not displaying properly for you. Because now things are really looking weird. My laptop is smaller than yours with a 13" screen but a resolution of 2560 x 1600 and 144 ppi running macOS 11.6.1 and if I use Firefox, I get:
And that is with the side panel closed. If I click on More Options to open it, I can see even more results:
I have no idea why your display is behaving so strangely. Maybe someone else here with a set up similar to yours can help you figure out what is going on.

My PC laptop is also 15 inches, and I'm running Windows 10, up to date, and Firefox 95.0.2 64-bit, latest version.
I can just about replicate the results - showing only part of one result and the footer - if I scroll to the bottom, on both scroll bars.
On Emily's screenshot, we can only see one of the scroll bars, and it appears to be at the bottom (noting the down arrow is all we can see).

I'm also working with a 15-inch screen, but with, um, rather higher resolution (3840x2160), and this is what I can see if I scroll all the way down on the outer scrollbar:
If I zoom in by four steps, however, I basically get exactly Ellen's (non-)view:
I think Ellen's experience is an excellent illustration of just how insanely badly laid-out the new search results screen is, and in particular, why scrollbar collisions are a Supremely Bad Idea -- a large part of the problem is the two inches of screen wasted by the footer, which is showing because in her attempts at seeing results, Ellen has scrolled the outer bar all the way down.
However, getting rid of the footer doesn't actually really help:
Now it's the column headers using up an inch of space; you can't get rid of them unless you scroll down far enough to bring up the footer, so at this resolution/zoom, you simply cannot get more than those two and a half lines from a single result. Yes, you can squeeze in a bit more by turning on more options and so on and so forth, but the point is that you shouldn't need to. The fact that you do is a demonstration of just how awful the new design is.

I am not seeing the contents of the screen shots posted by Julia, just images with an icon which I assume means not available. A defect of the FS Community platform. @Mark McLemore

I just tried my search again and I got the split screen that Gordon got. Then I realized I had not clicked the search button on the right half of the screen...so that solves my issue with seeing results...BUT it seems totally natural to click on that search button.
When I do click on the search button on the right half of the screen, the results show just as in the first picture I posted and it doesn't matter if I am at the top of the results or at the bottom...what you see in that picture is what I get.
Thanks to all of you for your help!
