When app fails to delete blank entries when I choose button to do so, what should I do?

I have chosen the "trash can" icon several times to delete left over blank entries, but the app fails to perform the command. Therefore, I can't submit the batch.

    Hi SimonMata,

did you use the fill down function to complete the work? If there is anything in those entries even a (blank) it will not delete. If that is the problem, use the same fill down function to remove what ever is there after your last good entry, by copying down an empty field to remove whatever is there.

    Hope that makes some sense.

When the Delete "all blank entries." does not "work," it means that the entries you were trying to delete were not wholly "blank." An entry is blank if all its fields are empty or contain <Blank> indicators from Ctrl+B. So, all its fields could be empty, or all its fields could be filled with <Blank> indicators, or have any combination of some empty fields and some <Blank> fields.

Usually, the entries you don't need are at the end of your list of entries. To ensure that they are all blank and efficiently do what @LarryClark43 suggests:

    (1) <Blank> the first of the entries you want to delete - all fields at once - by using the 5th icon from the left or the equivalent keyboard shortcut Ctrl+Shift+B.

    (2) Use the "fill down" tool - 6th icon from the right or its keyboard equivalent Alt+Shift+D - on every field in that now-blank first of the unneeded entries. That will render every field of the following unneeded entries <Blank>, and the Delete "all blank entries." option is guaranteed to work.
