In the following batch, do I add Late or deceased when the father of the bride or groom's name indicates that he has passed on? Does that title go in the Suffix or Prefix category if it does apply

UK, England, Diocese of Blackburn—Church of England Parish Registers, 1813–2021 [Part C][M3JT-W8D]

    Hello,

No, you wouldn't index "late" or "deceased". These are not prefixes (Mr. Mrs. Miss, Dr. etc ) or suffixes (jr, sr etc). they are just a description of the person's state - just as "widow" or "widower" would be.

    I hope this helps.

    Hilary.
