Unknown spouse is not accurate

On FamilySearch, I'm listed as the child of my parents, and I'm also listed as the child of my father and an unknown spouse. There is no unknown spouse. My parents are both deceased and I've tried to fix this with no success. I need to delete the unknown spouse but it doesn't give me the option to edit the relationship with my father and the unknown spouse. His name is Aldon Alferie Talbot, KWDM-DK8 and the only spouse he has ever had is Mary Louise Cairns. She is listed there, and listed as my mother, but there is another unknown spouse listed as my mother as well. Please let me know what to do to fix this.

Profiles of living people are only visible to the person who entered them. This means that you are the only one who can see this incorrect relationship; I just looked, and Aldon Alferie Talbot only shows one spouse:

To edit a parent-child relationship, click the pencil icon to the right of the child's name.

Since the problem is invisible to everyone but you, I don't know exactly what you mean by "unknown spouse": is it blank (nothing but the "add spouse" button)? (I only came up with an example of an unknown/blank husband rather than a wife, but I'm sure you can extrapolate.)

Or is there a profile with a question mark or the word "unknown"? If there is a profile, the simplest solution may be to merge it with your mother's profile, using Merge by ID in the right-hand column.

If your dad repeats but the spouse is nonexistent the second time, then I believe the solution is to click the pencil stub next to your name under the no-spouse couple, then click "remove or replace" in the third box (Child, i.e. you). Click the checkbox and choose "remove". This should restore you to having just one set of parents.
