KWJC-6PQ Geo.A. Smith
if you must use one of the bad toupee pix for George A. Smith as the avatar, at least use this one with his searing glance going right through you. [Toupees were a gag gift from the sisters. He would joke back by actually wearing them everywhere.]
Or use the straight into the eyes 1870 pix to get the full bast of his measuring glance, and the bad toupee.

Or forget the toupee, use the earliest known image by Sutcliff Maudsley & possibly Geo’s wife Bathsheba W. during her winter 1842-3 art lessons.
He still had some of that red hi-light Smith hair at the time. The mischief in him is barely at the corner of the mouth.
