new discovery person page Printing

I wish that when trying to print from the Discovery page that the "View More" would expand to show the additional information. Also, formatting the page to fit an 8.5 x 11 would help! I like the charts!

The reason is so that I may print out a copy for my genealogy records/photograph book - so that I may have a hard copy.

Thank you,

Scott

    Welcome to the "Community.FamilySearch" Forum.

    I am just another 'lowly' User/Patron ...

    Just in passing ...

Regarding the "Discovery Pages", from "Ancestors,FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch' ...

'FamilySearch', does not appear, to have provided a feature/facility/function to "Print", the "Discovery Pages".

The ONLY way, to "Print" the "Discovery Pages", is through one's "Browser".

[ Where one can adjust the "Margins"; and, use "Scaling" ... ]

    Curious ...

I only 'see', the likes of, "View All", in the various "Sections", of the "Discovery Pages" ...

[ Which brings up, a "Pop-Up" 'Window', expanding the particular "Section" ... ]

Question: Where is this "View More", on the "Discovery Pages"?

    Plus ...

Please be aware, that the "American Standard", for the "Size", for a "Page", of paper, of "8.5 x 11 inches" (Letter), is certainly NOT the ONLY "Size", of "Standard", for a "Page", of paper - for many of us around the World, the corresponding "Size", of "Standard", for paper, is "A4" [ie. 210 x 297 mm (or, 8.3 x 11.7 inches)].

And, in fact, apart from either, "Letter"; and, "A4", there are many OTHER various "Sizes", of "Standards", for a 'Page', of paper, around the World, that People use for Genealogy/Family History.

    Now ...

    That Said ...

    More importantly ...

Also, please be aware, that although they 'look' nice, that the "Discovery Pages", from "Ancestors,FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch', are ONLY to help/assist People "Find" their POSSIBLE Ancestors, on the INTERNET; and, BRING them to "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch' - that is all - nothing more ...

The "Discovery Pages", from "Ancestors,FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch', should NOT be used to "Print", for Genealogy/Family History ...

    As ...

There are known DISCREPANCIES, on the "Discovery Pages", from "Ancestors,FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch', that DO NOT appear, on the corresponding Record, of the individual/person, in "Family Tree", of 'FamilySearch'; being, the likes of, More than one Spouse; More Children (eg. "Living"); etc - that DO NOT appear on the "Discovery Pages", from "Ancestors,FamilySearch" [.org], of 'FamilySearch'.

    Just my thoughts.

I know, that this may not help/assist; but, I hope, that this provides you with some additional, insight; and, perspective.

    Brett
