When attaching hints, I discovered that the following set of records

"Deutschland, ausgewählte evangelische Kirchenbücher 1500-1971," database, FamilySearch (https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:QPD3-YRXL : 20 December 2021), Wirth in entry for Ludwig Rösch, 1838; images digitized and records extracted by Ancestry; citing Burial, Eggenstein, Karlsruhe, Baden, Deutschland, Eggenstein, German Lutheran Collection, various parishes, Germany.

has a group of records from image 680 to 684, including this listing for my ancestor, that have been indexed as though they are death records, but they are actually births and christenings in German. How do I report this?

Since this has Ancestry as the group that digitized and extracted the information, you probably have to go through Ancestry to file a report.
