Can a moderator please remove "Announcement" from the items at the top of "Indexing"?

I don't know how they came to be labelled as "Announcements", but the top two items currently displayed are clearly straightforward questions.

I wonder who applied this label - surely only an administrator can do this?

    They are at the top because they are questions that are asked over and over and over. The question in at least the one I posted was rhetorical. I did not pin it but I do not object at all to it being pinned. Same with the other post.

    @annewandering

    I see your point, but this does not seem to conform to the practice in other sections of Community. Take a look and you will find that "Announcements" are nearly always, well, "announcements" - usually inserted by administrators. This in spite of the fact that the Family Tree and Search sections (in particular) also contain questions that are asked over and over again.

    ....However, after looking more closely at your post (after writing the above) I do believe that this is fair enough, when posed as a rhetorical question like this. I still feel the other one needs to have its label removed, though!

    Obviously the posts are working. They have 730 and 698 views, respectively. We have not had to answer the second question 20 times a day since these announcements were created, although, people still do frequently ask "Why won't my batch submit" and the answer is because there are unused entries that need to be deleted, or there are required fields which haven't been filled in.

    I would like to see the title of the announcement title changed to "Why won't my batch submit?"

    "There are too many entries" means a lot of things - like - there are too many entries for me to complete before the batch expires, or there are too many entries, could FamilySearch split the image so we only have to do half as much work, or the indexer created too many entries what should I do?

    Great idea, Melissa. As you can see I have edited a few things to hopefully make it more clear and useable.
