how do I merge now deceased persons with living persons on my famly tree that are in read only?

Mamie Richards Silver is my father's mother (my grandmother) and these are my uncles

    Both Larry's and Roy's profiles have the duplicate right there under Research Help (top of the right-hand column): https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/KW4B-WLD and https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/KWCL-NWH. Therefore, all you need to do is to click on the words "Possible Duplicate" and then click Review Merge. This will start the merge process, which has three steps (screenfuls), but is pretty well explained at each step.

    because it s read only it will not let me eliminate the Larry without the information about his death and burial Idon't want to eliminate that

    @Marilyn Silver Wood , the mother is Mamie Richards KWCW-GNC and She is marked as Read Only. I guess a data admin will need to delete or merge the duplicates.

    One thing you could do however, if one of the duplicates were originally created by you in your Living area that you later marked as deceased, you could just delete that profile which will eliminate the problem of the duplicates.
