How to change relationship information in indexed records.
For example: https://www.familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MHJC-YFM?id=LCR1-B3R
If you look at the image, you can see that Mary is a "step GRAND daughter", not a "step daughter". Additional records confirm this relationship type.
When I click on EDIT, I can change the name, sex, and some places, but I cannot change the relationship.
This is problematic when trying to attach the record to individuals in family tree, as the pairing tool uses the relationship indicated in the record index.
How can I change the relationship information in an indexed record? Or is this a feature request?

@SL Terry, please read more carefully. The question was not about Family Tree, but about an indexing error: the "relationship to head of household" field was indexed as "stepdaughter", but the record actually says "stepgranddaughter".
@BeanGordonJeff, some fields of some indexes are correctable on FamilySearch, but this one is not among them. Therefore, what you can do is realize that despite the error, the index served its purpose: you found the record. As I've written multiple times on these forums: the index is not the data. It is merely a finding aid for the data.

Hello @BeanGordonJeff you need to go into the pencil by the step grand daughter and change the relationship with her parents. I hope this helps. Thank you for using the Community.

@Julia Szent-Györgyi - How do I turn this into a feature request?
I agree that the index is not the data, merely a tool for finding the data. However, Family Search uses the indexed information to facilitate certain actions, such as attaching records. When the metadata (the indexed information) is incorrect, these tools do not function properly.
I would like to capture my experience and observations in some format that might eventually lead to an improvement in the system. Can you please point me to where I would submit such a request?
