I cannot find a reason why a husband and wife were linked (identified as married) - please help?
This has brought a substantial number of new ancestors into my tree, however I have no supporting evidence that this is correct and it seems very unlikely that they were actually married - given their backgrounds, birthplaces and death, etc.
The name "Ferrara" for Giuseppe Cosimo Ferrara 9VSG-17B is different from the lineage of the Rossi family who are all from Sicily, which is far south where as Alessandria in the Northeast part of Italy. He was born and died in Alessandria. Other relationships for these individuals are based on the similarity of the last name, without any other supporting evidence to back up the connection.
Could you please help me know to how these were decided that they were married? I see no supporting evidence at all. But maybe I missed something here...
Thank you

Hi Michael, errors do occur however this can be limited by putting in as many sources as you can and using the research you have done to type in to the life sketch page. Also you can go into changes and contact the other people changing the tree to coordinate all your efforts. More correct information is needed ie certificates and then the relationship can be changed to the facts.

@michaeljamesloguidice1 , you didn't miss anything. I looked over the change log for Guiseppe, and it looks like Antonia was added as a spouse in 2015, possibly as the result of a bad merge. As PMLynch said, you could start by contacting the user who did the merge (just click their name in the change log).
If the relationship turns out to be wrong, as you suspect, you can disconnect Antonia. And if incorrect merges have caused the problem, you'll probably want to undo them as well.
Best wishes!
Kathryn
