Is the Catalog "fully" locked?
In view of the observations made at https://community.familysearch.org/en/discussion/111487/why-cant-i-see-records#latest perhaps a moderator could confirm / escalate the issue.
Both mods and others (including me!) have been advising that the Catalog detail might be out of date, etc., due to being locked prior to a "revised edition" in 2022, so I believe the actual position (particularly regarding updates) needs to be clarified.

The best information that we have is found in the Knowledge Article: "How do I request a correction to the FamilySearch Catalog?" It states that the catalog is locked and no corrections are able to me made. We will have to wait for the update that will hopefully be done in 2022 (no promises.)

Thank you for your response, but comments at the thread referenced indicate there might still be some limited work being carried out, despite the advice that it is locked.
I am not optimistic about getting a detailed response on this issue, but had hoped there just might be someone with "inside knowledge" who could advise, say, of the last date on which any work was actually carried out on the Catalog.

I know that the access restrictions to the UK Censuses have recently changed. They were accessible at FHCs, Affiliate Libraries and to LDS from their home computers. Now they are accessible only at FHCs and Affiliate Libraries. This is due to a change in the contract between the record custodian and FamilySearch. So evidently there are some changes that can be made.
